The act of changing place either by full body or by one or more of body parts is called movement. Study of movements is called Kinesiology.

Locomotion :- it is a type of movement in which the whole organism move from one place to another.

Automatic and induced movements:

The movements that occur by external force, like movements of non-living things, are induced. And the movement that occur without external forces, like movements shown by living things, are automatic.
